AHS hosts an ongoing alumni-student program entitled the "Alumni Speakers Series". The monthly series, open to all AHS students, features a panel of alumni speakers covering cross-discipline, career-related topics such as:

Grad School Night

Grad School Night is a fall event open to all AHS students. Information includes:

Details are posted on the AHS event calendar. Students also receive email notification from AHS Academic Advisors.

College of AHS Mom's Day Brunch

Mom's Day Brunch is an annual event held during Mom's Day Weekend for students and their parents and:

  • Includes a light brunch
  • Provides an opportunity for parents to meet the dean's office staff and academic advisors
  • Includes an informative program about the college, departments, and opportunities for undergraduates
  • Requires reservations—a mailing is sent home prior to the event.

Fall New Student Welcome

The College of Applied Health Sciences welcomes all new students to campus each fall with a social event that:
