The College of Applied Health Sciences (AHS) is holding its annual Ph.D. Recruitment Day on Monday, November 13 from 8:00-3:00 in Huff Hall.  Please attend to learn more about the exciting Ph.D. degree options in AHS.  We offer doctoral studies in very relevant and marketable fields such as community health, kinesiology, recreation, sport, and tourism, and speech and hearing science.

The recruitment day will include helpful information about admissions, financial aid, and career prospects.  You will also hear from current doctoral students about their reasons for choosing AHS and their experiences of being in a doctoral program.  In addition, you will visit your program of choice to learn specifics about the application process and speak with faculty concerning their research.

The registration form for the Ph.D. Recruitment Day can be found at https://illinois.edu/fb/sec/4753870.  You can also call Ms. Sally Marshall at (217) 333-2131 for more information.  If you know of others who may be interested, please encourage them to attend.  Breakfast and lunch will be provided, and travel support is available.

For students who are not able to join us in Champaign, we will offer a live webinar of our Ph.D. Recruitment Day from 8 a.m.-12 p.m. Central time. Students will be able to view the same presentation as those on the Illinois campus, as well as ask questions of presenters. The webinar link will be available soon.

We hope to see you there.

Sincerely,

Reginald J. Alston, Ph.D.
