Disability Resources and Educational Services

Disability Resources and Educational Services (DRES) at the College of Applied Health Sciences provides free accommodations and support for students with disabilities, fostering an inclusive and accessible campus.
DRES helps thousands of students with disabilities fully experience college life, solidifying our reputation as a leader in accessibility. From creating the first architectural accessibility standards to launching the first wheelchair-accessible bus system, residence halls and collegiate adapted sports programs, Illinois has a legacy of firsts. This rich history, and the goal of ensuring every student at the university has the tools to succeed, drives our ongoing mission to innovate and to empower people with disabilities.
