From the Dean

Dear AHS family and friends,

The College of Applied Health Sciences has been my academic home for many years, and I am honored to serve as its dean. Our community is dedicated to improving the human experience across the lifespan, and together we are making a lasting impact by:

  • Advancing health, rehabilitation and wellness for individuals and communities
  • Championing accessibility, inclusion and equity in all aspects of life
  • Innovating through research that transforms practice and policy
  • Preparing the next generation of leaders in health sciences

My philosophy is people first. As we envision our future, I look forward to working with each of you to fulfill our land-grant mission and extend our impact far beyond campus. This is an exciting time for the College of Applied Health Sciences, and I can’t wait to see what we will accomplish together.

Yours sincerely,

Cheryl Hanley-Maxwell
Dean, College of Applied Health Sciences
