Brandi Binkley

Brandi Binkley, MPA, SHRM-CP, CPHA

Brandi Binkley is the Public Health Administrator of the Macon County Health Department. She has served in public health for nearly 17 years in aging and disability services; health promotion and public relations; human resources; and administration. Brandi earned her Bachelor of Science in Public Relations and Master of Public Administration. She holds a Society of Human Resources Management – Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) credential and is a Certified Public Health Administrator through the Public Health Practitioner Board, Inc. Brandi has served on multiple local, state, and national coalitions; serves as the President-Elect of the Illinois Association of Public Health Administrators (IAPHA); is a Public Information Officer for the Macon County  Health Department; and has served as the Incident Commander for the health department and Macon County throughout the COVID-19 response.

Brandi has a strong passion for public health, specifically in providing equitable, accessible, inclusive, and respectful services for all in the community. She feels strongly that leadership is about empowering employees; working as a team; and leading by example. Brandi has implemented additional student opportunities at the Macon County Health Department with the goal to become a learning organization for the future of public health. Brandi is proud to be a part of the University of Illinois team to invest in and partner with students to achieve the greatest learning opportunity; achieve career goals; and aid in moving forward the future of public health and healthcare overall.
