Create Lasting Change

Annual Funds

Annual funds are the heart of private giving to AHS. Gifts to our annual appeal help meet urgent needs and support operational excellence.

Student Scholarship

Donating to a AHS student scholarship fund directly helps students. It gives them the financial support they need to pursue their education and reach their potential.

Joseph J. Bannon Directorship

Donating to the Joseph J. Bannon Directorship in the Office of Recreation and Park Resources helps the AHS faculty and students in the Department of Recreation, Sport and Tourism positively impact people’s lives by collaborating with the Office of Recreation and Park Resources. This unique, integrated approach allows us to successfully address many of the health and wellness challenges we now face in our society.

Chez Veterans Center

Please help us provide support services that enable military-connected students to realize their potential. Your support shows a strong commitment to the center’s long-term success. It helps the men and women there build a brighter future.

DRES

Donating to the Disability Resources and Educational Services fund makes Illinois more accessible for all students. It is a service unit of AHS that supports students across the university. DRES offers free services to any student needing accommodations or assistance. Your support helps ensure that everyone, no matter their abilities, can enjoy a full Illinois experience.

Faculty Mentoring

The Phyllis J. Hill Award for Exemplary Mentoring honors AHS faculty. It recognizes those who mentor students in the Edmund J. James Scholar Program.

Faculty Research

Support research that helps the Center on Health, Aging and Disability (CHAD) lead interdisciplinary studies. These studies support health and wellness. They promote healthy aging, strengthen communities, and help individuals with disabilities participate fully.

RST 180 Travel

The RST 180 “A Hall of Fame Adventure” course offers students a unique chance to explore top RST destinations. By donating to the RST 180 Travel Scholarship Fund you make it possible for these students to discuss and compare facilities and professions. Students will apply classroom concepts while touring facilities. This course also helps them connect with a strong network of proud Illini in the field.

Student Giving

Current students, you can make a difference! Invest in future students by donating to a departmental scholarship fund or another supportive area at AHS. We encourage you to donate an amount related to your graduation year (like $20.25) to honor your class.
