Alicia L. Richards, M.S., is an instructor in the Department of Kinesiology and Community Health. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, Richards also serves as the Director of the Illinois Physical Activity and Life Skills (iPALS) Wellness Program, the Physical Activity Course (PAC) Program Coordinator, and the Undergraduate Kinesiology Minor Advisor. Prior to Illinois, Richards spent three years teaching and advising in the Kinesiology Department at The University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa and one year teaching in the Department of Kinesiology and Physical Education at Northern Illinois University in DeKalb. Outside the classroom, Richards remains active in industry through her work with intercollegiate athletics and specialized youth programming and summer camp experiences. Richards earned her Master's of Science from Purdue University in Kinesiology, with a focus on Sport Management and her Bachelor's of Science from Springfield College, with a major in Sport Management and minor in Business Management.
