In the College of Applied Health Sciences, we genuinely embrace the word “applied.” We focus on making our work practical, not just theoretical.  

Community engagement is essential to education. By working with the community, our students gain valuable real-world experience. They apply their knowledge to tackle important health issues and develop vital skills like empathy and teamwork. This engagement makes them more effective healthcare leaders and researchers. Community involvement makes classroom lessons meaningful, and shapes graduates into well-rounded and socially responsible individuals.
