Tim Nugent Posthumously Elected to U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Hall of Fame

Tim Nugent, known as the "Father of Accessibility," and the founder of the Division of Disability Resources and Educational Services at the University of Illinois, has been posthumously inducted into the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Hall of Fame as a member of the class of 2019.
A professor of Rehabilitation Education at Illinois, Nugent died in 2015 at the age of 92.
