What keeps you busy outside of your coursework?

Work often keeps me busy outside of my coursework! And occasionally family does as well!

What inspired you to pursue a MHA degree?

I want to open my own clinic, and I think the MHA program will provide me with the necessary skills I need to move forward.

Why did you choose Illinois for your MHA?

Illinois is home. I enjoyed my undergraduate experience here, and I believe that my graduate experience will continue to be great! Most of the professors I’ve had showed that they are here for our success and would constantly support us if we need it.

What advice do you have for current students OR prospective students?

My biggest piece of advice is that it’s easy to get into a college or a program, but the difficult part is staying in. This piece of advice was given to me in high school, and I think it makes a lot of sense. Obviously, you worked hard to get in, but staying in will be much more difficult and you have to put in the work!
