Kristina Costello currently works as a Senior Consultant for Eclipse Insights. Within her role, Ms. Costello has the opportunity to lead and support various projects across the revenue cycle. Through the work that she does with her team, they have helped a multitude of hospitals create more efficient workflows, boost patient satisfaction, increase net revenue, and more.

Most of Ms. Costello’s experience has been working with hospitals on back-end/billing functions to help them reduce avoidable payer denials and the subsequent write-offs. By working on these types of projects, she is able to utilize her data analytical and problem-solving skills to improve the day-to-day operations at the organization, in addition to increasing the budget to allow for additional patient care.

Many of her clients are smaller hospitals that provide patient care to populations who may not be able to find care elsewhere should their doors close. Part of what Ms. Costello loves about consulting is that not only do you gain knowledge from partnering with clients to identify issues and resolve them, but you also get to know that you are leaving a lasting impact on these organizations and their patients.
