Dr. Tenorio is a Teaching Assistant Professor in the Department of Kinesiology and Community Health at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She is an experienced teacher with over 20 years of teaching experience in both schools and universities throughout her career. For the past 13 years, Dr. Tenorio has been responsible for teaching, mentoring students, organizing outreach activities, and coordinating events. She is a founding member of the Brazilian Society of Physical Activity and Health (SBAFS) and holds the prestigious position of President of the Brazilian Society for Physical Activity and Health. Dr. Tenorio's contributions extend beyond teaching and administration. She has actively engaged in quality research, managing research projects, collaborating with community partners, and mentoring graduate students and project staff.
